School/Teacher/Parent Fear and Resistance

Fear and resistance to Games and VR technology is a common barrier faced by all technology acceptance. However, the strong association of games and VR with entertainment and leisure, exacerbate the fears. Addiction to devices, technology and games are concerns of parents. Teachers and principals have expressed reluctance to participate in research using these technologies based on parents fears.
