Standardized Testing and Direct Instruction Policies
The prevalence of standardized testing as the assessment of learning means that immersive learning environments and the technologies that engage learners in immersive experiences are inhibiting teacher training in instructional design, standarizing the instructional process for direct instruction, and requiring test scores for teacher retention in U.S. A. public schools.
